Kaitlyn is blessed to have so many loyal supporters! She hopes everyone is also blessed and uplifted by her music ministry!
Kaitlyn started singing at the age of two. She would sing Jesus Loves Me for her local church every Sunday. One Sunday, her local pastor asked where she learned to sing like she did. Kaitlyn quickly responded that God taught her to sing! Even though there was chuckles throughout the church, at that young age Kaitlyn knew that she should raise praise to Him. As her voice grew, it became obvious to everyone who heard her sing that she was going to have a music ministry! At the age of 5, Kaitlyn started singing on stage with several local groups including In His Image, Crystal River Bluegrass, and Hearts Desire. Shortly thereafter, she started singing onstage with the nationally acclaimed group, The Melody Trio. She performs with them whenever possible, and thanks them for all their help. Shortly thereafter, she started singing solo performances at many churches and local events, including weddings, funerals, homecomings and other types of events. At age 7, she recorded her first CD locally with Aubry Sims of Inspiration Studio, and has since recorded two more with the same studio. Her last CD with them was recorded May 2007. Within the past two years, she is a constant fixture onstage at the Schaefer Center in Toccoa, GA. Woody Woods, director of the Schaefer Center, has been an encouraging and supportive fixture to her. She was introduced to the Eddie Crook Agency through The Melody Trio, who are clients of the Eddie Crook Agency. Their efforts lead to Kaitlyn being offered a contract with the Eddie Crook Agency, a major recording studio and promotional agency in Nashville.
On December 20, 2007, Kaitlyn signed a recording and promotional contract with the Eddie Crook Agency in Nashville, TN. She is excited about all the future prospects this will be bringing her way! She finished recording her first CD with them in February 2008. Release date for this recorded cd project nationwide was May 2008. She is on the Cedar Hill label. Her first nationwide radio release is expected to be late June or early July 2008. Keep an ear open for her new songs on the radio soon!
